London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is looking to recruit dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Doctors initially as a 12 months fixed term with the view of extending.
These post will be full time and part of the 1st on-call day time rota which will be fully supported by 2nd and 3rd on-call clinicians who are all medically and dentally qualified.
The post holders will be based mainly at Northwick Park Hospital but most doctors will need to rotate to other peripheral hospitals on a weekly basis.
The post holders will complement the existing team of Junior Doctors who have a philosophy of team working and who are constantly seeking to provide a first class service in a caring and patient oriented environment.
The Oral and Maxillofacial department is based at Northwick Park hospital and supports activities from hospitals across North West London. The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate flexibility within their job planning to accommodate the evolving service... reconfiguration and to support the managed network of London North West Healthcare.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced, challenging and busy specialty. This appointment is initially for 12 months and will be based mainly at Northwick Park Hospital and one of the peripheral hospitals.
These posts require motivated doctors who are medically or dentally qualified and who have an interest or some experience in OMFS. A
broad based knowledge in all aspects of OMFS is beneficial. The successful candidates will work as members of the first tier of the OMFS team who are always supported by second and third on-calls who are all medically and dentally qualified.
There is a possibility to enrol for the certificate or Msc in Oral Surgery and/or Implant dentistry and to gain the experience and some of the competencies during your 6-12 months working at the department.
The post holder will be supervised, supported and will collaborate with other practitioners as agreed to be appropriate with the OMFS Clinical Lead.
So far as is consistent with the proper discharge of the designated duties of the post holder, he/she should undertake to deputise from time to time for absent colleagues.
The post holder undertakes, exceptionally, to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
