What will you be doing?
Adarga is a rapidly scaling up organisation and we are growing our platform team. The role is to work within our DevOps team to design, implement and maintain the infrastructure underlying our product. You will need to understand modern DevOps practices used to maintain a containerized microservices architecture spanning the globe. Furthermore, as a data analytics company we want to enhance our analytics capability of... data generated by our IT environment. You'll be expected to help design, implement and rollout this capability together with the data scientists and the rest of the team.
• Maintaining and improving current AWS Organisation and account structure
• Implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Supporting software engineers and data scientists
• Automation of infrastructure delivery pipelines
• Optimising infrastructure using data derived from our observability stack
• Ensuring current infrastructure is fault tolerant and testing disaster recover scenarios
Essential Requirements
• Good Kubernetes knowledge preferably EKS at production level
• Advanced AWS knowledge and experience (Organisations, IAM, EKS, RDS, Elasticsearch, S3, MSK)
• Proven ability to design and plan significant infrastructure changes
• Leadership and coaching experience in the delivery of DevOps work
• Experience implementing and testing data backup and restore solutions (RDS, Elasticsearch)
• Advanced Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• DevSecOps - integrating strong security practices into DevOps culture
• Scripting (Bash/Python/ preferably Golang)

• Experience managing Elasticsearch and Postgres data

• Azure experience / Multi-cloud
• Cloud/Cloud Native Networking
• Cloud/Cloud Native Security
• Service mesh implementation experience

At Adarga we use Kanban principles and daily stand-ups to track work tasks.
You will take part in cross functional and cross team communication to enhance collaboration. These will take the form of knowledge shares, reading groups, chapter group meetings, workshops and innovation projects.

• Getting to know you:
In the first call, let our recruiter learn about you and your story to check a potential fit for Adarga. This is also a chance for you to ask first questions about the role and company.
• Team Interview:
In this meeting, you will meet with your potential team members who will take a deeper dive into the technical aspects of the Platform Engineer role here at Adarga, where you can expect some high level technical questions, competency based questions and another chance to ask any questions you have.
• Technical Interview:
In this meeting, you will work with your potential team members on technical questions and challenges. The DevOps tasks will form an extremely collaborative session.
• Final Interview:
You made it to the very last stage! Here we will look to gain a better understanding of your experience to date, a chance to walk through your experience, the role you played at the company, different projects that were worked on and the impact you had, and give you an opportunity to see the wider team during an informal talk.
