Treasury Vice President - Evergreen Funds, leading Global Private Market's Manager

The Opportunity:
• Newly created role (greenfield site) working for the secondaries arm of a market leading Global Private Market's Manager
• My client is launching in 2025 a brand new strategy focused on raising capital across both Private equity and Private Equity Secondary semi-liquid vehicles from Private Wealth clients - i.e. Evergreen Funds
• Working with and supporting a highly experienced Portfolio Manager, you will be based in my client's beautifully appointed offices (hybrid working model)
• This role is very varied in nature and will require a technically astute, entrepreneurial and technically gifted Treasury professional to take a lead in establishing the Treasury infrastructure required
• Supporting the treasury, capital markets, and operational aspects of this... new fund range, this role will be broad in nature offering a lot of potential for both personal and professional development. Additionally, you will be offered a lot of creative licence to build and develop the Treasury capabilities
• More specific responsibilities will include supporting the Director of Treasury, Portfolio Manager, and Investment Team on all matters related to cash & liquidity, transaction closing, and other portfolio investment actions
• Oversight of cash management, including daily and weekly cash reconciliations, bank account onboarding and management, and short-term cash investing, when necessary
• Management and maintenance of credit facilities, including updating models to ensure compliance with all covenant tests, running all required reporting intra-period as well as quarterly compliance reporting. Assist with the operational terms of the same, including submitting borrowing requests, managing and maintaining quarterly sweep/principal payment and interest calculations and payments
• Monitor the fund hedging program from ISDA on-boarding, trade execution and settlement, as well as fair value reporting
• Liaise with a range of other internal areas of organization and stakeholders including tax, legal/compliance, investment team, investor relations, information technology and business management
• Liaise with and manage relationships with a range of external vendors including the banks, FX advisory, auditors, and other third-party providers the my client engages with
• Take a lead with ad hoc project initiatives. This could include the automation of cash and liquidity management reporting; data maintenance and completeness validation controls; policy updates; strategic vendor selection to assist with enhancing the operational aspects of the Fund as required; and other projects as required by the Director of Treasury & Portfolio Manager
Your Experience:
• You will possess an accomplished record of academic achievement, culminating with a relevant undergraduate degree in a Business / Economics discipline, or a subject that demonstrates a strong analytical mindset
• It is essential that you have significant experience of working within Treasury, ideally from within the Private Market investment industry. Treasury experience gained from working within other alternative fund managers may also be considered, however, specific Private Market Treasury experience is preferred
• Previous understanding of FX Hedging, complex liquidity modelling and structuring or credit facilities is key
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Project management experience a plus, along with the ability to be a problem solver with an ability to take on multiple tasks / projects simultaneously
• Understanding of valuations, partner allocations, and fund structures
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and organizational skills
• Ability to think strategically and commercially, whilst also understanding the operational impact and detail of decisions
