About the Role
The Senior Revenue Controller is an integral part of Latham’s Accounting team. This role will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the billing process, as well as providing follow-up support to billing attorneys, secretaries, practice office staff, and clients in all aspects related to billing. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
• Acting as liaison between... the billing attorney, secretarial staff, practice office billing staff, and clients’ staff by providing expert level subject matter support; responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner
• Communicating with customers to ensure requests from the billing staff are being met; updating customers on the status of tasks and/or projects; acting as a liaison with the Global Services Office (GSO) teams by providing local level logistical and technical support
• Acting as a liaison with the local Finance Committee member in support of Finance Committee objectives; ensuring preparation and participation in quarterly Finance Committee calls and facilitating any actionable next steps resulting from calls
• Acting as a liaison with eBilling team; ensuring corrective action is in place for future submissions.
• Providing accurate and timely completion of assignments and inquiry responses; ensuring that all tasks and duties completed are done within the firm’s set guidelines and policies
We’d love to hear from you if you:
• Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus
• Possess thorough knowledge of bookkeeping procedures such as posting, balancing, debits and credits, and journal entries
And have:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field
• Experience in general accounting practices
• Prior experience with Elite Enterprise or 3E Billing system
