Position Overview:
This key position focuses on activities related to processing of client information and the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
Key Duties and Responsibility:
· Conducting external audit, review, and compilation engagements
· Prepare financial statements and notes
· Perform financial and systems analysis
· Preparation of personal and corporate income tax returns
· Develop and maintain relationships with client management
· Assist with... training and overseeing staff accountants
Skills and Qualifications:
• Accounting/business diploma/degree
• CPA designation is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environment
• Experience with CCH suite of programs, Sage, Quickbooks preferred but not required
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Good organizational skills
• Effectively monitors multiple or complex projects regularly to check how they are progressing against deadlines and budget
• Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients’ business and maintain strong client relationships
• Dedicated and motivated to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties
