IKEA London City is looking to welcome a Unit P&C Operations Coordinator. This role is based across two units, IKEA Hammersmith and Oxford Street.
Your remit will be to execute operational P&C activities together with other P&C team members at unit level to deliver an excellent Co-worker experience. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to create an inclusive, dynamic, and supportive environment.
WHAT WE OFFER
• The Start Date of employment will be: 3rd November 2024
• This role offers a starting salary of £30,000 per annum, based on competence & experience.
• 39 hours per week, working hours will support the needs of the business. This includes working weekends, morning and late shifts.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• You will have a natural passion for people with experience to coordinate and oversee daily administrative tasks ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.
• Organised, efficient and ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across all leadership levels.
• Strong business and legal knowledge with Payroll process awareness.
• Experience in organising, storing, and sharing information to enhance team efficiency and knowledge management.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Ensure and execute delivery of learning activities at unit level including legally required trainings and coordinate local P&C service delivery to ensure risk, compliance and operational excellence.
• Ensure local employer communication activities including events are consistent, well-perceived and build on the IKEA brand
• Deploy services that are required to be executed at a local level such as uniforms, contracts, timekeeping, and parts of payroll administration
• Manage local on- and off-boarding activities as main contact person including equipment, accesses, and welcome day and secure engagement and retention by understanding the conditions of co-workers and identifying needed improvements
• Execute operational P&C activities at unit level, collaborating with other LOS Specialists in the country as needed to deliver an excellent Co-worker experience
• Support the development of local business competence and performance by setting and working on relevant P&C goals
• Provide input on P&C policies, processes and programs to Centres of Expertise and Business Partners.
