Humdingers Catering is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant. As the Operations Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth and efficient operation of our business. You will collaborate closely with various departments such as Kitchen, Office, Bookings, Events, Warehouse, and Delivery to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of our delicious food to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with logistics, including the creation of daily delivery and collection sheets van documentation, due diligence, and check sheet monitoring
• Monitor and ensure Health & Safety standards compliance
• Provide basic HR support, including job postings and interview coordination
• Support café management operations
• Oversee utility accounts and address any issues that arise
• Provide general administrative support, purchasing and handle any ad hoc tasks
• Supporting Finance with invoice chasing, record keeping, receipt... scanning, and general housekeeping
Experience Required:
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and effective time management
• Basic knowledge of HR practices and general operations
• Inventory managing and order placing
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, rotational shifts: 9am to 5:30pm or 10:30am to 7pm
