(YALA) had one mission: to provide the world with the highest quality, organically grown dates and date products. Two hundred seventy thousand (270,000) palm trees later, we haven’t lost track of this goal. Today, our expansive operations cover over two thousand six hundred (2,600) hectares of green farms in the cities of Al Qassim and Al Madinah across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We cultivate a wide selection of organic dates such as Safawi, Mejdool, Sagai, Anbarah, Khalas, Sukkari, Ajwa, Khudri and Mabroom. Our team of dedicated farmers employs organic farming techniques with state-of-the-art agriculture technology to honour our promise and accompany each date from when they plant it to when it makes it into your hands. As we grew, we have incorporated bio-organic intelligence across all our production lines, securing full organic... certifications for all our farms. Job Description: Develop and Implement Global Sales Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy targeting supermarkets, distributors, and other key channels globally, with a primary focus on expanding market share in the UK, Europe, China, USA and the Middle East. Market Expansion and Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive market penetration in key regions to increase the brand's footprint in the global dates industry. Manage Key Account Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with major supermarket chains, wholesalers, and distributors, negotiating terms and contracts to secure profitable deals and long-term partnerships. Sales Performance Management: Set ambitious sales targets and KPIs, monitor team performance, and implement corrective actions to ensure objectives are met or exceeded across different markets. Develop Marketing Strategies: Oversee the development of marketing campaigns and promotional activities, ensuring they align with the sales strategy and resonate with target audiences in various regions. Product Positioning and Branding: Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to ensure optimal product positioning, packaging, and branding that appeal to different cultural and market needs. Team Leadership and Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global sales and marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Market Analysis and Consumer Insights: Conduct market research to understand consumer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor activity, using data to inform sales tactics and marketing strategies. Budget Management: Oversee sales and marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while maximizing ROI from promotional activities and sales efforts. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, finance, and production teams to ensure smooth operations, efficient product distribution, and alignment on business goals. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the FMCG, food, or agribusiness sector. Experience working with supermarkets, distributors, and wholesale channels is essential. Deep understanding of the global dates market or a similar industry, with proven experience in successfully launching and growing products in international markets. Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market penetration, and brand awareness on a global scale. Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, inspire, and develop a high-performing, culturally diverse sales and marketing team. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt strategies based on market conditions and consumer insights. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with a proven ability to close high-value deals and establish long-term partnerships with key accounts. Ability to think strategically and translate market opportunities into actionable plans that align with the company’s growth objectives. Willingness to relocate to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to different cultural and business environments, with experience working across diverse markets. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred. Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous and preferred. Proficient in using CRM systems, data analytics tools, and other sales and marketing software to manage accounts and track performance. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ambitious sales targets
