Associate Videographer at Yonder
London, United Kingdom

Job Descrption
Tell me about Yonder

We’re building the financial membership of the future. Starting with a credit card that has fun and experiences at its core, we’re the antithesis to your dad’s stuffy, corporate, boring credit card.

Whilst tech is revolutionising the finance industry, credit is still stuck in the stone ages. We want to create a world where financial services are fair and conscious, and the stress of debt is eliminated for everyone. We're taking a values lead approach to changing credit for everyone, so we recommend you check them out here: Our DNA.

We’re backed by the best European Seed and Series A investors, early backers of Spotify, Wise, Figma, Revolut and Klarna.

Over the last two years, we’ve grown from just an idea to a beautiful, fully regulated credit product that our members absolutely love.

Sounds cool. Tell me about the role.

We’re looking for an Associate Videographer to produce world class social, performance and other video content. You’ll work together with... our Senior Content Lead to drive our content strategy. Here's what you'll do:
• Ideate, produce, shoot and edit video content for our social media, app, YouTube and website
• Work with our performance marketing team to produce engaging and effective advertising media to use across paid media channels
• Work with freelancers and agencies to deliver bigger video projects

We’re looking for someone that:
• Has experience running a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram channel (required) - you're comfortable with the whole process of producing amazing video content, from start to finish. Including ideating, producing, shooting, and editing video content while ultimately driving more engagement and channel growth. Bonus marks if you're comfortable on camera, though no required.
• Has experience across a variety of video formats - together with our Senior Content Lead you'll be working on creating epic content for our organic, performance and product marketing. You know when to dial up creative quality and when to fit the content style to the channel and purpose of your creative.
• Nice to have: you've been to film school - you're trained in the art of film production and have a strong understanding of the fundamentals around storytelling, producing and editing film.

What it's like to work at Yonder

We’re based in our Hoxton office, complete with a rooftop, free barista coffee, dogs and plenty of comfortable space to do your best work.

You'll need to come in to the office at least 3 days a week, with everyone coming in on Mondays. You'll love it here if you:
• Crave autonomy and thrive when given lots of responsibility. This isn’t the kind of role where you’ll be told how to do your job.
• Enjoy fast-paced environments where things quickly change. This isn’t the kind of role where you’ll spend months on a project that doesn’t see the light of day.
• Enjoy getting stuck in and contributing to the wider success of the business. This role isn’t just about making videos; it’s about helping to grow our brand everywhere.
• Want to contribute to positive change in the world. Credit has a bad rap, with its complicated products and greedy incumbents. We’re empowering and rewarding people through intuitive products that are a joy to use.
• Are excited about working with a ridiculously smart and talented group of people, who’ll push you beyond what most competent people think is possible.
• Crave a fast-paced environment – we’re a nimble, fast moving startup that punches considerably above our weight. It will be incredibly rewarding, often quite intense, but with considerable financial upside if we get it right. We don’t keep normal 9-5 hours.

What’s in it for me?

Depending on your skillset and what you can bring from day one, you’ll be looking at:

💰 £30,000 - £35,000 annual salary

📈 £18,000 - £21,000 in stock options

🐣 16 weeks enhanced parental leave

⛷ Bi-annual team-building trips abroad

🧠 Learning and training allowance (£500/year)

🍳 Monthly team breakfast

⛳️ Monthly team events

🚴 Cycle-to-work scheme

What’s the application process like?

We take the candidate experience really seriously, so we’ve made the process as transparent as possible. We also promise to be super responsive, and will never leave you wondering where you stand for weeks on end. Here’s how it works:

We'll have an initial call to find out a bit more about one another.

Stage 2: Take away task (paid)

You’ll have 24 hours to ideate, produce, edit and return a video to us. We'll share more information at the time. You'll be paid for your time for this task.

Stage 3: Onsite with the team
• Skillset interview: (60 mins): We’ll dive into your video experience
• Values interview (60 mins): We'll discuss both of our working styles and values, to see if we’re aligned. This will be with two of our team members.

Offer

We promise to make a decision within 48 hours.
