Overview:
Live True London is an innovative and fashion-forward salon concept that aims to redefine the salon experience through exceptional customer service, authenticity, collaboration, and creativity. With salons located in Soho, Brixton, Clapham North, and Vauxhall, we take pride in our industry-leading partnership with Boots.
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and accomplished Stylist Manager to join our dynamic team based in Clapham. The ideal candidate will be business-minded, goal-driven, and possess a strong desire to grow and develop professionally. Additionally, they should demonstrate exceptional styling and colouring skills while setting a leading example for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the salon, including overseeing client appointments, managing staff schedules, and handling client queries.
- Support... the wider salon management team by providing training and guidance as required.
- Act as the main point of contact for salon staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Train, mentor, and encourage professional growth for salon staff to ensure their continual development.
- Manage HR-related matters, including performance evaluations, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in fulfilling the recruitment needs of the salon, conducting interviews, and onboarding of new employees
- Develop and implement effective salon processes, procedures, and systems to optimise efficiency.
- Ensure proper management of salon supplies and inventory.
- Provide regular reports to the Operations Team on team performance and address any challenges or successes.
- Successfully manage a busy column, achieving personal targets in rebooking, retail sales, and overall revenue.
Requirements:
- Proven previous experience over many years in a similar salon management role.
- Previous and/or current management experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and positively influence teams.
- Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving business turnover targets.
- Approachable and personable, fostering strong relationships with both staff and customers.
