Job Descrption
We are seeking a dedicated and highly professional Butler/Junior House Manager to join a distinguished private household. London is the primary residence but will involve travel globally to other properties/destinations. This role requires an individual with exceptional service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage various household tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will embody discretion, professionalism, and a commitment to providing an exemplary experience for the principals and their guests.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Personal Service:
• Provide a high-level personal service to the principals and their guests, including meal service, event planning, and household organisation
• Anticipate the needs of the principals, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
2. Household Administration:
• Oversee the daily operations of the household
• Maintain inventory of household supplies and manage purchasing as needed
• Coordinate and manage household... maintenance and repairs supported by Holly
• Coordinating with external vendors such a florists on a weekly basis
• Supporting the chef with ordering and kitchen organisation
• Personal errands as and when required
- Maintain household records, including budgets, inventories, and schedules.
- Assist with correspondence and communication on behalf of the principals as required.
3. Event Planning and Coordination:
• Assist in planning and executing private events, including formal dinners, parties, and gatherings.
• Collaborate with external vendors (caterers, florists, etc) to ensure seamless event execution.
4. Guest Relations:
• Welcome guests and ensure a hospitable environment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar role within a private household or luxury service environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of fine dining service, household management, and etiquette.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Days: 5 days per week, including 2 weekends per month
Hours: 45 hours per week, 12pm – 9pm
Salary: Up to £55k GPA
