Job Title: Part-time Housekeeper
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: 2 days per week – 5-hour shifts (flexible which days)
Salary: £18 – £20 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: A 5 hour shift ideally between 9am-2pm (however this could be flexible for the right candidate)
We are working with a VIP family, who reside in a split-level penthouse in Knightsbridge, London, to find an experienced Housekeeper to join their household.
With a family of four, including two teenagers and a small dog, our client’s residence demands the highest standard of care and attention to detail. This is a unique opportunity to work in an exclusive environment where your skills will be appreciated and valued.
Approximately 4 months of the year, the family is away during school holidays, Christmas, Easter, and Summer, during which your working hours will be reduced to key holder duties and occasional property checks.

•... Collaborate with another full-time live-in Housekeeper to maintain the residence to impeccable standards.
• Execute daily household cleaning duties according to the provided rota/schedule, ensuring cleanliness and organisation throughout the property.
• Manage laundry and ironing tasks efficiently.
• Handle wardrobe management, including the care of luxury items, couture, and high-end materials.
• Assist in preparing the family’s luggage for travel and organise belongings during stays.
• Maintain and care for high-end dining sets, tableware, delicate cutlery, crystals, and silverware.
• Demonstrate knowledge of caring for luxury art pieces within the home.
• Prepare family-style meals following the provided recipes.
• Preferred experience in flower arranging.
• Conduct online shopping for groceries and household items.
• Coordinate dry cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups, and report any damages or faults with home equipment/appliances to relevant staff members.
Requirements:

• Previous experience working in household roles for VIP families.
• Clear understanding of the expectations and operations within high-profile households.
