Counsellor Required (Fashion Retail Academy): London
Part-time, 2 Days per week onsite (Thursday and Friday)
Permanent, Term Time Only (42 weeks work per year)
The Fashion Retail Academy’s Counselling team is growing, and we are looking for a part-time addition to the team. The role will provide short to medium term counselling to individuals that encourages healthy mental and emotional development while promoting longer-term resilience. You are required to have a Diploma or Degree in Counselling or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Level 6 or 7).
It is essential that you have an awareness of Further Education, a good understanding of equality and diversity issues, safeguarding, health and well-being issues, and pastoral care support measures.
You should also have experience of working therapeutically with young people.
The successful candidate will be personable, highly compassionate, and genuinely interested in supporting young adult mental health in education.
