STEM Teaching Assistant | Barnet | Immediate start.

Are you a First-Class STEM Graduate who would be interested in becoming a specialised STEM Teaching Assistant? We are looking to speak with STEM Teaching Assistants looking for some class-based experience before beginning their PGCE / PGDE, or who want to use their specialist subject knowledge. If you're a talented Science or Maths Graduate looking at pursuing a career in education, then this role will be for you!

I am looking to speak with anyone who is an aspiring STEM Teaching Assistant, and who has ambitions to go into the education field and gain invaluable experience before beginning Teacher Training, or before endeavouring into a future career.

STEM Teaching Assistant | About the role:
• A STEM Teaching Assistant is a term-time-only role!
• Get paid up to £105 a day (inclusive of holiday pay) | Paid weekly via PAYE
• Co-ed Secondary School in Barnet. A STEM Teaching Assistant will assist students from Year 7, up to KS5... students applying to university
• A STEM Teaching Assistant will work alongside a fantastic team of Teachers and Support Staff to deliver a fantastic standard of education for the students.
• Support students in a classroom setting, in 1:1 meetings, or small group interventions.
• Work with high achieving students as well as students who aren't quite hitting their targets, providing the same level of care and attention to their work.
STEM Teaching Assistant | About you:
• We are looking for a STEM Teaching Assistant with a good Science or Maths Degree from a Top 25 UK University
• Has an interest in enrolling in a Teacher Training Programme, a PGCE, or working with children in the future.
• Can teach engaging lessons to students up to KS5
• If a STEM Teaching Assistant has tutoring experience, it would be advantageous
• Is passionate about teaching students from a range of backgrounds in a diverse and inclusive environment.
• Looking for an enthusiastic, creative and adaptable STEM Teaching Assistant who wants to work in a collaborative team across this Barnet school.
