Job Descrption
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Camden, just a short walk from Camden Town Station. This full-time role will run from October 2024 to July 2025, with an opportunity to train as a teacher after completing your first year in the position.
Experienced Teaching Assistant | The Role: As an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) focused Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, helping them to manage their behaviour and achieve their potential. Working closely with teaching staff, you’ll provide 1:1 and small group support, fostering a positive learning environment and building strong relationships with pupils.
Experienced Teaching Assistant | Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 terms’ experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting.
• Proven ability to support students with SEMH... needs and to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
• A passion for making a difference in young people’s lives and a strong commitment to their development.
Experienced Teaching Assistant | Details:
• Pay: £96-105 per day PAYE.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30 - 16.00 (approx).
• Contract: October 2024 – July 2025.
