Position: Town Planner (any level) - Infrastructure / Renewables
Are you a Town Planner looking for that new challenge or the opportunity to accelerate your career in a collaborative team, with a very healthy and diverse pipeline of projects across the infrastructure and renewables sector?
I am working closely with a well-established national consultancy with offices across the UK, looking for a Town Planner with infrastructure and/or renewables experience to join at multiple levels (open to any location).
This close-knit team has delivered on flagship projects across the country with a reputation for maintaining standards of excellence.
Projects include solar, BESS, on and offshore wind, EV, hydrogen energy, carbon, nuclear, ESG carbon and a historic track record across the residential and commercial sector.
You will be involved in (among other responsibilities):
• Working on infrastructure projects, assisting in delegating and starting to take on a leadership role.
• Continuing... to maintain relationships with clients in providing accurate advice and communicating effectively.
• Dealing with pre-apps and managing planning applications through the development process.
• Communicating and negotiating with clients, stakeholders, and locals regularly.
• Business development and working up your own client base, or bringing your own.
• Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations and similar events in representation of both the Company and clients through the planning process.
• Mentoring and helping to manage junior team members.
You will ideally:
• Have at least three years within planning - ideally in consultancy.
• Strong development management skillset and expertise.
• Be MRTPI or equivalent.
• Be a strong communicator with excellent written work.
