Job Opportunity: Long-Term, Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: £93.48 per day
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
Axcis Education is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant for a long-term, full-time position at an all-ages school (ages 4-18) in Reading. The role involves supporting students with a range of needs including PMLD, autism, challenging behaviour, complex needs and personal care requirements. Assisting all pupils with personal care is an essential part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Give support to students with diverse SEND requirements.
• Assist with personal care for all pupils, regardless of age.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help manage and support children with challenging behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure the best student support.
Requirements:
• Experience working with SEND students in a personal... professional or voluntary setting.
• Compassionate, patient and proactive.
• No formal qualifications required.
