This is a fixed term appointment for two years. Two posts are available.
The Grantham Research Institute is a research centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science, carrying out research and policy analysis across a range of issues relating to climate change and the environment.
We are seeking a Policy Analyst and Research Advisor to carry out policy-oriented research and policy analysis in collaboration with Professor Stern and the Institute’s other staff. The appointee will produce accessible, high-quality analysis on climate change aimed at decision makers in the public, private and third sector, and will play an active intellectual role in the life of the Institute. Some work outside of office hours will be required.
Candidates should have a postgraduate degree or... equivalent in economics, environmental/development economics, environmental policy or a related field; ability to produce high-quality research and policy analysis, excellent economic analytical skills, including experience of analysing large datasets, and knowledge and experience across a range of climate change related disciplines in particular climate change economics and policy.
