Digital Marketing Strategist

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Prestigious International Sustainable Outdoor brand on the search for a Digital Marketing Strategist. This is a permanent role based in London.
As the Digital Marketing Strategist, you will report to the Global Head of Online Marketing and be responsible for managing paid media operations, including Search Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Display Advertising, and YouTube. You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to optimize campaigns towards key media objectives such as conversion, new customer acquisition, revenue growth, and activation of CRM... initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement omni-channel digital marketing strategies and activation plans with the internal acquisition team.
• Ensure activities support key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new customer acquisition (NCA), revenue, return on ad spend (ROAS), cost of sale (CoS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), traffic, and brand awareness.
• Set goals, monitor budgets, and report to stakeholders at HQ and within regional clusters on budget allocation, strategy, and performance.
• Setup and manage data visualization within channels.
• Manage a supporting external agency for search marketing, overseeing daily campaign setup and optimization.
• Manage Affiliate Marketing partnerships within Impact Radius, including setting commission levels, approving new publishers, and managing monthly commissions.
• Identify and develop marketing technologies to improve execution in performance marketing channels, including feed management, audience syndication, multi-touch attribution (MTA), tracking, and visualization.
• Collaborate on the conceptualization of creatives and content for performance marketing channels.
• Use data and customer insights to identify new growth strategies.
• Support the business with SEO insights and best practices.
What are we looking for?
• 2-3 years of experience in operational performance marketing, including daily campaign setup, optimization, budget allocation, and bid management.
• Proven experience and success in running PPC campaigns within Google (and Bing).
• Solid experience across Google’s marketing technology ecosystem, including Google Ad Manager/MCC, DV360, GTM, GA, etc.
• Strong experience working with web analytics tools.
• Familiarity with affiliate management platforms such as Impact Radius.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices.
• Ability to approach projects with a can-do attitude and create new processes where needed.
• BSc/BA in a technical, business, or marketing-related field.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
