Summary: This is a part-time remote role. The Maths Tutors will be responsible for delivering high quality live sessions to group of 12-20 students based in the UK in primary or secondary schools on weekday evenings and/or Weekends. The tutor should follow the structured lesson plan to deliver the high-quality live sessions in a group of 12-20 students. All the tutors will receive our world-class tutor training, which will teach you various ways to deliver our industry-leading teaching methodology. Tutors are also expected to provide feedback on students’ performance to students and parents.

Our goal is to successfully foster the children's ability to think critically and logically meanwhile prepare for school entrance exams.
What You Will Do:
• Attend structured tutor training sessions.
• Attend weekly teaching preparation and mock sessions.
• Deliver live session in group setting on weekly basis with confidence and energy.
• Provide essential after-class feedback to individual clients (students and their parents), including but not limited to professionally articulating student's performance in class and their learning progress, mark homework and offering suggestions for improvement.
• Participate into course promotional activities, including but not limited to deliver trial class and carry out conversion conversation with perspective clients.
• Participate into other after-class customer service, including but not limited to record solution videos for after-class exercises, tests, exams and deliver revision session or catch up session to relevant students.
• Build close relationships with students and parents and strive for high retention rates.
• Typically work 20 hours per week (depending on number of classes you are assigned), primarily during weekends and weekday evenings.
How You Can Be Qualified:
• Bachelor’s degree or above; All majors are welcome; Education, or STEM-related majors are preferred
• You are still eligible to apply if you are still pursuing or in progress of obtaining a Bachelor's degree
• Experience within the education industry or a background in tutoring mathematics is better but not essential.
• Maths competition experience and achievements is great but not compulsory.
• Commit until the end of the current academic year (July 2025).
• Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends
• Passion for education and children, strong patience and responsibility.
• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent in time management and multi-tasking.
• Quick learner and keen for continuous self-development.
• Weekly training will be conducted remotely.
Pay Structure:
• Tutoring Fee:
• $70/hour for weekly live sessions; suggested to take 4-6 sessions per week, and each sessions last for 1.5-2 hours. This fee includes after-class services such as marking homework, giving feedback and answer questions from students or their parents etc.
• $30/hour for other teaching activities, including but not limited to delivering trial class for perspective clients and revision sessions for existing students before exams. All such activities are to be organised or approved by the company in advance.
• Non-Teaching Fee:
• $30/week for course preparation during term time.
• $30/set for homework solution video recording.
• other side-projects upon availability and requests. Payments are to be discussed case by case.
Minimum payment of £3,200.00 per month is guaranteed, when the accumulated fees are less; when the accumulated fees are above the minimum, the payment will be made based on the actual amount.
