Job Description:
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Store /Bakery Manager to join our team in our store. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new premium supermarket and food hall responsible for overseeing the operations of the bakery and patisserie department in a premium retail store. This position involves managing a bakery team, ensuring the highest quality of bakery and patisserie products, exceptional customer service, efficient daily operations and managing online sales and delivery, your role is to maintain the shop’s reputation and driving its success
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise, train, and motivate a team of bakers and pâtissier’s, ensuring they follow best practices in bakery, customer service, and food safety.
2. Assign tasks, establish work schedules, and manage staffing levels to meet business demands.
3. Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
4. Oversee and... participate in the preparation and presentation of various premium bakery and patisserie products, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy.
5. Train staff in proper bakery techniques, portion control, and product knowledge.
6. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers to maintain an adequate stock of fresh bakery and patisserie products
7. Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries, and guiding them in bakery and patisserie selection and cooking methods.
8. Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and satisfactory manner.

11. Enforce strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.
12. Implement and oversee proper handling, storage, and disposal of bakery products.
13. Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create attractive and appealing displays of bakery and patisserie products.
14. Ensure that display cases are clean, organized, and properly maintained to showcase the freshness and quality of products.
15. Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment and machinery
16. Report and address any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly
17. Assist in budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability
18. Monitor sales, analyse trends, and make informed recommendations to improve product offerings and sales performance.
Skills Required:
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
