We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced Food Runner to join our team in the Restaurant at Tate Modern.

This position is the perfect place to start your career in hospitality. You will gain experience in an exciting, unique environment, working with a dynamic and diverse front of house team and chefs at the top of their game. You will be able to learn about the restaurant business, developing and fine tuning your customer service, communication and teamwork skills all whilst delivering a great experience for our guests.

This role is a fundamental part of the team focusing primarily on serving food, whilst also supporting the Chefs, Kitchen Porters and the restaurant floor team. You will learn in detail about the food and drinks we offer, attending tastings and training sessions in order to develop your knowledge and skills with the aim to progress within the team in the future. Our vision for the Restaurant is evolving and we would like nothing more than for you to come on that journey with us. Individual development is extremely important to us and we will support your progression.

We offer some of the best working hours in the industry; you will be scheduled on a rotational basis 5 days a week, 10am to 6pm Monday to Sunday with some evening shifts when we run special dinner events on Friday or Saturdays, usually once or twice a month.
