Job Descrption
Buckingham Futures is recruiting for a Principle Transport Planner on behalf of our client in Greater London. Starting ASAP, initially due to end in January 2025.
To develop and manage, in conjunction with the Transportation Manager, the preparation, agreement, and monitoring of Transport and public realm policies including the Council’s Long Term Transport Strategy and Local Implementation Plan.
You will be responsible for developing policy, formulating bids and work programmes, and monitoring outputs and outcomes including financial monitoring. The post holder will maximise inward investment from the private and public sectors to support transport and infrastructure projects and wider transport objectives.
You will have previous experience within a Planning role for a Local Authority and be available to work on a hybrid basis.
