Job Title: Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Kitchen Manager to ensure the seamless operation of our production kitchen, supporting both our restaurant locations and delivery kitchens.
Position Overview: The Production Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, food safety, and supplier management within our central kitchen. This role is critical in ensuring that our restaurants and delivery kitchens receive high-quality, consistent products while... maintaining strict compliance with food safety standards. The Production Kitchen Manager will manage inventory, liaise with suppliers, and lead a team of kitchen staff to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Food Production Management:
• Oversee daily food production for all Wingmans restaurant locations and delivery kitchens, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes.
• Develop and implement efficient production processes & schedules to meet the demands of both in-house dining and delivery services.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refine menu items.
• Food Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure full compliance with all food safety regulations, including HACCP and local health department requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of kitchen operations to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Train and monitor staff on food safety practices, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance.
• Supplier and Inventory Management:
• Manage relationships with suppliers to secure the best quality ingredients at competitive prices.
• Oversee the ordering, receiving, and storage of all food supplies, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimising waste.
• Conduct regular stock checks and manage inventory systems to ensure efficient and cost-effective kitchen operations.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead, train, and develop a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Schedule and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet production demands.
• Quality Control:
• Monitor the quality of all products leaving the production kitchen, ensuring they meet Wingmans standards.
• Address any production issues promptly to minimize impact on restaurant and delivery operations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume production kitchen, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in supplier and inventory management within the food industry.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse kitchen team.
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on efficiency.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
