The Role: Morning Consult is seeking a subject matter expert to join our Solutions Architecture team to keep up with the demand for brand measurement and campaign effectiveness solutions. As the Lead Solutions Architect of Brand Measurement and Campaign Effectiveness, you will ensure that our solutions in these spaces are optimally designed to uncover clear insights that drive actionable recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a mixture of commercial excellence, research and analytics experience, as well as expertise with brand and campaign research solutions. In this role, you will partner with the Head of Solutions Architecture to refine the vision for brand and campaign effectiveness solutions at Morning Consult. You will drive cross-functional efforts to activate and scale these solutions to deliver simple and actionable insights in a commercially efficient manner. This role is responsible for ensuring that our solutions meet and exceed the needs of our marketing, media, advertising and insights clients.
The range of client needs you will answer is quite diverse, but all have brand and campaign performance and success factors at their core. Their focus ranges from how to connect the dots between brand measures and business performance, understanding how campaigns are contributing to brand and behavioral outcomes (or not), uncovering growth opportunities for alternative brand positioning, how master brand and variant brands are contributing to each other’s success and identifying creative best practices best on patterns across massive survey data sets.

We design our programs to fuel analytics to uncover hidden insights, and deliver our results with our unique context powered by our ability to leverage diagnostics and data from flex modules, our omnibus and our syndicated solutions on the market. This ensures our brand measurement and campaign effectiveness solutions deliver maximum actionability. And while we have already grown dramatically in this space, we are excited to bring in a fully dedicated Solutions Architect to further enable effective and efficient growth in this space.
The Solutions Architecture Team at Morning Consult:The mission of the Solutions Architecture team is threefold. First, we design, scale and activate differentiated solutions that deliver simple and actionable insights for our clients’ core questions in a commercially efficient manner. Second, we empower and support acquisition, retention and cross-selling efforts to grow our client base for our solutions in partnership and centralized planning with our Sales, Research Solutions, and Analytics and Data Operations teams. Third, we work to elevate our colleagues’ abilities to drive impact by cascading our expertise through the Morning Consult organization. We build thought leadership on topics such as best practices in research and analytics, patterns of success in brand growth and creative success and case studies showing bridging survey and sales data. Within our suite of solutions, brand measurement and campaign effectiveness is our largest and rapidly growing area for the business.
What You’ll Be Working On:
- Acting as the voice of brand and campaign effectiveness solutions with prospects, clients, industry and academic partners. Serving as subject matter expert, both in terms of marketing strategy/applications and measurement/analytic requirements and rationale
- Developing, scaling and evolving our brand and campaign effectiveness solutions, ensuring they are differentiated. Leveraging expert knowledge of the market in this space and the needs of marketing, media and advertising clients, and building from MC capabilities and differentiators from high-frequency sampling
- Empowering and supporting acquisition, retention and cross-selling efforts to grow our client base for brand and campaign effectiveness solutions in partnership with our Sales, Research Solutions and Analytics and Data Operations teams
- Actively participating in priority relationships (greater than $250K) and creation of client-ready content, thought leadership, sales collateral and learning and development materials
- Cascading expertise in this space through the business by management and training, and partnering with Research Solutions and Analytics and Data Operations on all brand and campaign effectiveness-related development work, focusing on effective and efficient delivery against client needs
- Performing such other tasks and duties as may be required or assigned from time to time in the Company’s discretion
About You and What You’ve Done:
- 15+ years of experience in brand marketing and measurement, brand insights or market research, and / or advertising development and campaign effectiveness measurement and analytics
- B.A. required, Master’s or Ph.D. preferred in a social science, business, marketing and / or applied analytics
- Well-versed in the landscape, language and application of the full suite of brand measurement and campaign effectiveness offers. This should include, but not be limited to, marketing mix models, brand lift studies, digital attribution, ad tracking, creative testing and development, brand equity frameworks, brand positioning, brand tracking, driver models and bridging brand-to-sales
- Experience in all phases of research activation: client discovery, sales, program design, execution, analytics and interpretation of brand measurement (both point in time and tracking) as well as campaign effectiveness programs (both in market and pre-launch development work)
- Experience designing and implementing internal strategic initiatives in partnership with key internal stakeholders, ideally in the brand measurement and campaign effectiveness domains
- Experience developing teams, and knowledge of how to cascade expertise through a commercial organization
- Excellent communication skills and ability to leverage those skills internally and externally to secure outcomes
- Expertise communicating with marketing, media, insights and analytics audiences

The expected salary range for this position is $146,300 - $243,400, with a midpoint of $194,900.
In most cases, we target the midpoint of our salary ranges for new hire compensation. This placement is reflective of full proficiency in a role. This role is eligible for additional variable compensation and an equity grant, which will be discussed in your initial recruiter conversation.
