We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable tour guides to lead engaging tours at iconic London sites, including the British Museum, Natural History Museum (NHM), and Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace.
Position Overview:
As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading informative and engaging tours for international and domestic visitors. You will ensure that each guest experiences the rich history, culture, and heritage of London in an enjoyable and memorable way. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, a passion for history, and a desire to share their knowledge with a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead group tours at the... British Museum, Natural History Museum, and during the Changing of the Guards ceremony.
• Provide informative and entertaining commentary on the historical significance of each location.
• Tailor the tour experience to meet the interests and needs of different groups.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests throughout the tour.
• Answer questions and engage visitors in a meaningful way.
• Stay updated with current events and developments related to the sites.
Requirements:
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus, especially French, Spanish, or German).
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Strong knowledge of British history with a particular focus on London’s key landmarks.
• Previous experience as a tour guide is preferred, but not required.
• Passion for history, culture, and tourism.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to manage groups effectively.
