Job Descrption
Our client, Bosco & Roxy's, is seeking an experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehousing and distribution functions at their facilities. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and food industry standards, and optimizing warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage a team while maintaining effective logistical oversight in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the reception, handling, and distribution of all products.
• Oversee logistics and purchasing activities.
• Ensure timely shipment of orders and communicate variances.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards, including food safety protocols.
• Optimize warehouse space and layout for efficiency.
• Supervise warehouse staff and evaluate performance.
• Monitor and improve shipping... receiving, and logistics performance.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse or supply chain management.
• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field is an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid forklift and knowledge of WHMIS are required.
The role requires physical inspections of company property, wearing PPE on the production and warehouse floor, exposure to noisy environments and outdoor conditions. There is a requirement to be able to lift up to 23kg.
