Job Descrption
FSL carry out quality, hygiene, and safety inspections across the UK for a wide range of clients. We independently monitor the quality and safety of the food they present to customers, giving them the data to make measurable improvements and have total confidence that their business is complying with food safety and health & safety legislation.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time food quality and safety inspector to join FSL.
You will carry out quality control inspections on fresh and prepared produce, meat and fish and baked products destined for retail at distribution centres in Enfield, Waltham Abbey and regional stores.
All aspects of quality will be assessed, such as size, condition, freshness, packaging, weight and more.
You will also carry out Food Safety and Health and Safety inspections at pubs, schools and food outlets in the London and M25 area.
Details and non-conformance's will be recorded for submission digitally to our head office.
A keen attention to... detail is a must, along with the ability to use a spreadsheet, and mobile devices such as an iPad.
You will need to work well using your own initiative, have a great manner with both colleagues and clients.
All training and equipment needed will be provided.
The job involves travel so it essential to be a driver and have access to a vehicle

Inspection / Auditing Training
Or other similar qualifications
