Physiotherapist - Band 5 Recruitment Open DayDate: Thursday 26th September 2024Location: St Andrew's Community Church, Hawthorn Grove, Foxhill, Bath, BA2 5QATime: 10am – 2pm & 4pm – 6pmWe have an exciting opportunity for you to learn more about our Physiotherapist opportunities across our Bath Teams at our BaNES Recruitment Open Day!If you are interested in pursuing a career in Physiotherapy, we would love to talk to you about the pathways available, e.g., Apprenticeships and Undergraduate routes.We also have regular opportunities to join us as a Rotational Physiotherapist, which give the post holder the opportunity to experience a range of different services and clinical areas in 6-month periods.Rotations currently include:Two MSK outpatient clinicsTwo community Re-Ablement teamsTwo in-patients community hospitals (Bath and Paulton)Clara Cross Centre (Falls Clinic and Movement Disorders Clinic)Complex Needs and Community Neuro and Stroke ServiceTwo rotations into our local District... Manage a patient caseload, minimizing clinical risk and ensuring a high standard of care.Carry out physiotherapy assessments, treatment planning and implementation to a high standard, evaluating and modifying your input as appropriate.Communicate effectively with patients and carers, in order to gain informed consent, achieve accurate assessment, facilitate patient choice, and maximize patient engagement.Communicate effectively with colleagues of all professions and with other agencies to achieve goals, including effective discharges. Ensure that confidentiality standards are maintained.The Ideal Candidate:If you are a current Band 5 Physiotherapist looking for a new challenge, newly qualified, due to qualify, or simply just have an interest in starting a career in Healthcare, we would love for you to attend!On the day we will have recruitment advisors, hiring managers, and colleagues available.
