Job Descrption
We have exciting opportunity for a recruitment officer to join our busy recruitment team. We are a fast paced, high-volume function and you will work closely with your colleagues to provide an efficient service. You will support your recruitment team leader to ensure a first-class service is provided to all our stakeholders.
As a recruitment officer you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle, providing advice and guidance to hiring managers and candidates.
You will have a positive can-do attitude with a desire for problem solving and will be proud of the service that you deliver. Previous recruitment experience is required. We offer training and hybrid working once the training period is complete.
This role is to cover a maternity leave and is for 9 months. If you would like to share our goal of "putting our patients first" at the forefront of everything we do, then we would love to hear from you.
Responsible for effectively administering the end to end... recruitment process for assigned vacancies including quality checking and placing adverts on NHS jobs, arranging interviews, issuing conditional offer letters and processing pre-employment checks in line with the NHS Employment Checks Standard
Work in line with AFC terms and conditions
Coordinate pre-employment checks such as DBS, ID verification, professional registration/ qualification checks and reference checks for successful candidates.
Provide an advisory service to hiring managers and applicants to ensure timely completion of recruitment activities and to ensure adherence to recruitment processes, legislations and best practice.
Ensure high customer service standards when engaging with all internal and external stakeholders
Provide information, advice and training for hiring managers regarding the correct use of NHS jobs, Trac and other recruitment systems.
Liaise with hiring managers, applicants and support staff within the recruitment team to ensure on-time delivery of services.
Effective management of TRAC dashboard to ensure timely completion of pre [1] employment checking and recruitment operations within agreed KPI’s.
