Hawkwood are currently partnering with a purpose-driven, tech scale-up who are seeking to hire a Talent Acquisition Manager.

Led by smart and hugely ambitious founders, our client has developed a cutting-edge AI platform that is disrupting their segment of the market! They are a leading innovator within their niche and as such, have been backed by some of Europe's top VC investors.

The business has developed a product that is loved by their customer base. They have a strong brand that is valued, and a team that is passionate about innovation. Their people are central to the organisation and with the range of perks, support and development, this is something they want to maintain and nurture.
• Our client would be looking for someone to be in their central London office 2-3 days a week.

THE ROLE:

Working as part of a small Talent Acquisition team, you will play a crucial role in delivering on HQ and Leadership hires. As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will help... drive hiring excellence by building strong stakeholder relationships, using a data-driven approach to identify improvement opportunities, and spearhead key talent initiatives.

Key responsibilities:
• Owning the sourcing strategy and delivery of HQ and Leadership hires, consistently hiring the right people at the right time for the business.
• Partnering with stakeholders to find and hire the best talent into their functions.
• Using data and market insights to educate and influence hiring decisions.
• Working with Hiring Managers to scope out upcoming roles.
• Taking charge of stakeholder management and helping to prioritise based on business need.
• Owning the quality of Talent Data in your area in Ashby, driving quality retros and driving change and insight within your stakeholder group.
• Driving process improvements to help maintain a high standard quality of hires and hiring metrics.
• Taking a leading role in ensuring our processes are as inclusive and accessible as possible.
• Driving employer branding strategy, activity and content.
• Owning and driving necessary TA projects, ensuring excellence in delivery and that key milestones are hit.
• Fostering an outstanding candidate & hiring manager experience in your areas, recommending strategic improvements based on insights collected.

You will be a good fit if you:
• Have experience in hiring across a broad range of non-tech roles (primarily HQ).
• Confidence in hiring for mid-senior level roles (Head of/ Director level would be an advantage, but not essential).
• Have a strong talent background, ideally working within a VC-backed tech business.
• Have experience developing a strong employee brand to attract top talent.
• Have the gravitas to push back on leaders, setting high standards for the Talent function and ensuring managers are following the process.
• Are passionate about data and understand the power it brings to the Talent function.
