About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Centronic team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with the QMS and specific customer requirements and you will monitor and improve the quality of products and processes using Quality Tools. Your main responsibilities will focus on supporting Quality Assurance Engineers, generation of documentation packs and ensuring their compliance, carrying out inspections of WIP and documentation, performing... supplier assessments and surveillance, assisting with the control and management of the bonded material system; supporting quality control activities including calibration, mechanical inspection and vendor rating activities, reporting quality activities; organising and controlling concessions, production permits and rejects as appropriate.

Who we are looking for
To be considered for the role you will have experience of working in a relevant manufacturing role or you will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. You must have a good understanding of ISO9001, Quality Tools (RCA, CAPA, FMEA, 8D, 5 WHY, ISHIKAWA, FISHBONE) as well as specifications, engineering drawings and principles. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong communications skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment with often changing priorities and customer demands. Good standard of literacy, numeracy and knowledge of MS office software (Excel in particular) is a must. You will also need to have a full, clean driving licence.

• Working hours: 37.5hrs/week; Monday-Thursday 8am-16.45pm and Friday 8am-12.30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
