Job Descrption

• Act as a technical expert in the designing, coding, testing, supporting and debugging of new software or significant enhancement to existing software
• Expertise in SQL server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS technologies
• BIML is added advantage
• Assess query performance and actively contribute to optimizing the code
• Write technical documentation and specifications
• Working experience in Agile projects
• Communicate with Business Analysts to understand requirements, socialize ideas among peers, and document work product
• Able to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Able to work independently and also to collaborate across the organization
• Highly developed problem-solving skills with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Support internal audit by submitting required evidences
• Demonstrate and apply exemplary software engineering practices and skills.
• Develop an understanding of the entire application stack.
• Experience... with ETL tools would be advantageous (Aptitude for example).
• Processing and manipulating data into an Client database using a number of software toolkits (ETL tool, Client PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, SED/AWK).
• Debugging skills for a variety of software flavours, ability to debug Unix, PL/SQL code.
• Ideally have experience across the tech landscape including Cloud, Architecture Design, and data engineering technologies.
• You'll know about agile development practices, continuous integration and test automation.
• You'll also have an understanding of how to design, high availability and performant applications.
