Exciting opportunity to join our newest property based in Kensington. We're seeking applications for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join us.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our newest property based at Kensington, NSW on a full-time basis. In your new role you will perform and oversee the facilities and building maintenance services at the property, ensuring that UniLodge comply with all codes and regulations, meet service requirements, and ensure a safe and secure work environment for all building occupants and visitors. Permanent full-time position - 38hrs Monday to Friday
Additional hours may be required for urgent works, modification and emergency call outs
Manage the overall maintenance of the apartments, common... areas and building exterior
Maintain the highest level of maintenance, safety and security at all times
Establish systems and procedures to facilitate preventative maintenance programs
Record, report and assist the General Manager to manage all building defects
Assist other staff and residents with training in preventative maintenance and any health and safety issues
Assist in the formulation of maintenance budgets year on year
Liaise with the General Manager and carry out apartment departure inspections and repairs
Manage the work of external contractors and provide progress updates to General Manager
Obtain all warranties and operations manuals for all plants and equipment
Similar experience in general property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations and building maintenance)
Confident computer skills including ability to use various systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
You will have a 'safety first' mindset, and an understanding of basic OH&S principles and chemical handling
Class C Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC), or willing to obtain
