Talent Acquisition Partner (temporary through February 2025)
Location: Hybrid in New York City (3 day in-office requirement)
*This position is a temporary full-time role supporting the Melio Talent Acquisition team, and is expected to last until February 2025 for maternity leave coverage.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner, preferably in-house within a fintech or payments technology company
  • 1-2+ years experience utilizing recruitment tools such as Greenhouse (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Demonstrated expertise hiring qualified candidates at all levels throughout all departments including but not limited to Customer Experience, Operations, Risk, Payments, Legal and Go-to-Market
  • Proven recruitment expertise through the experience of managing the full recruitment cycle of multiple requisitions at any given time, with an emphasis on a top-notch candidate experience 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with candidates, conveying job opportunities effectively, and collaborating with hiring managers and stakeholders
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Genuine passion for developing and engaging with diverse talent pipelines, and the ability to approach talent acquisition from a strategic level to ensure the best fit for each role

Bonus points:

  • Experience recruiting in a B2B payments company
  • Experience working and collaborating with a global team 

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs, create job descriptions, create interview and competency planning, and formally kick off the hiring process for the job requisition
  • Utilize creative sourcing techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates through job boards, recruiting and social media platforms, networking and other channels 
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications, skills and values add for the open role
  • Manage the full end-to-end recruitment process including resume review, pipeline management, sourcing and outreach, schedule, phone interviews, candidate on-site interviews, extending job offers, etc.  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Communicate effectively and timely with all candidates in our hiring process, and maintain accurate records throughout the selection process
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement recruitment strategies, initiatives and best practices to attract and retain top talent
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within Greenhouse to generate recruitment reports to track key performance indicators  
  • Be a champion of change to effectively manage and shift priorities as the company and departments change within their hiring needs

About Melio USA:

    • The annual base salary for this position is $70,000 - $75,000.
