Job Description:
An Insurance Sales Agent at Howard Hanna Insurance Services is a mid-level insurance sales position who serves as the growth engine for Howard Hanna Insurance Services. Your responsibility will be to respond to new home buyer leads provided to you in an assigned territory, and to engage in relationships with Howard Hanna Real Estate Agents and Mortgage employees. Preparation of quotes and working through closing opportunities is essential to this role’s success.
Excellent outreach, follow-up, quote development and negotiating skills will be utilized in this role on a daily basis. Being able to communicate all things insurance, with options for home, auto, umbrella, life, and business and commercial is essential in this role. Marketing support is provided for success in this role.
Responsibilities and Skills
A successful candidate will have the following skills:
• Meet high volume new business production goals through phone calling and email.
• Ability to utilize... innovative technology and data to help with the quoting and sales process – helping our real estate clients get the best coverage for their needs.
• Self-confident extroverted personality that can engage and positively impact clients.
• Build and engage in an ongoing networking relationship with Real Estate Agents, managers, loan officers and real estate peers.
• Experience with multiple lines of insurance.
• Experience in AMS 360, Agency Zoom CRM and carrier portals a plus.
• Strong commitment to results, with ability to handle rejection.
• Confident, goal-oriented self-starter who works well independently but who also has strong collaboration skills. Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• You must be able to positively contribute to the Company culture; relate to clients, real estate agents, lenders and title agents on multiple platforms – by internet, phone, video and email.
Compensation and Benefits:
• 1st year compensation range between $45,000 to $75,000
• Highly competitive uncapped commission, and bonus opportunities.
• Potential to make estimated $125,000 by year 3 based on productivity!

Requirements
• Currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license, or open to on-the-job licensing.
• Experience quoting multiple lines of insurance.
• In office training period.
• Some ability to travel to regional real estate offices and company engagement events.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and coachable.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up, exceeding current and prospective client expectations.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
