We provide reliable delivery services to caterers of all kinds, enabling our clients to focus on their core business.
The Role
Food Republic are looking for an experienced and reliable Lead Delivery Driver to join the Night Transport Team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Driver will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of products to customers including the completion of all paperwork, as well as the safe operation and upkeep of company vehicles. They will be required to learn all Night rounds and be flexible to cover where required.
This is a multidrop position consisting of approximately 10-15... customer drops per night with a 3.5 tonne Luton van. Full training on Food Republic processes and procedures will be provided.
The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Delivery Driver include:
• Minimum 2 years experience in van delivery driving (preferably within the food industry)
• A good understanding of London streets and the surrounding areas
• A full UK driver's license (clean license preferred)
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal),
• A polite and friendly manner with those you interact with
• Detail oriented with good organisational skills
• A flexible attitude with the ability to perform well under pressure
• A team player
