Our dual-focus model consists of a B2B marketplace, connecting organisations with verified sustainable suppliers, and a consultancy service that helps businesses optimise procurement strategies for environmental and social impact. Our goal is to empower companies to make more sustainable choices while fostering a global network of responsible suppliers.
We are now looking for a passionate, strategic, and visionary Co-Founder and CEO to lead our company to the next level, driving both marketplace growth and consulting engagements.
Role Overview:
As the Co-Founder and CEO, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of the company, ensuring its financial health, and leading all operational, sales, and marketing efforts. You will collaborate with the founding team, investors, and... stakeholders to scale the business and establish it as a leader in sustainable procurement. You will also be responsible for managing a remote team, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Define the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy. Drive growth and expansion of both the marketplace and consultancy arms of the business.
• Investor Relations: Managing relationships with current and potential investors, and ensuring strong financial health for the business.
• Marketplace Development: Oversee the development and scaling of the B2B marketplace, ensuring a robust pipeline of sustainable suppliers and buyers. Identify and execute partnerships that accelerate growth.
• Consulting Services Growth: Build a consulting team that delivers world-class sustainable procurement strategies to large enterprises. Develop and refine service offerings to match market demands.
• Operational Excellence: Build and manage a remote team to execute daily operations effectively, including finance, HR, marketing, product development, and legal. Implement best practices for remote work, including communication and project management tools.
• Sales & Marketing: Drive B2B sales and marketing strategies to attract key clients, and scale market adoption of the platform. Build the company’s brand as a leader in sustainability.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with the co-founding team, partners, and advisory board. Lead communications with key stakeholders, including employees, investors, and partners.
• Sustainability Advocacy: Be the face of the business in promoting sustainable procurement and supply chain practices. Attend industry events, speak at conferences, and engage with the sustainability community.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a CEO or senior executive within a B2B business, ideally with marketplace or procurement experience.
• Strong background in sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or supply chain management is highly desirable.
• Track record of scaling a business, securing investments, and driving high growth.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building businesses from the ground up.
• Experience managing and growing a remote team across multiple time zones.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in fundraising and working with venture capitalists or investors.
• Strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen, comfortable working with P&Ls and developing growth strategies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
