• Hands-on Finance, Legal, People, or Talent experience - you’ll be used to executing in at least two of these functions - fundraising experience is a nice-to-have,
• Strong quantitative skills - at ease working with numbers to decipher insights and deliver tangible changes... potentially developed via a quantitative degree and/or background in consulting or finance,
• Ability to tell a story - natural communication skills and the gravitas to bring various teams and a truly diverse workforce together on a journey,
• A passion for strategic project management - able to both meticulously plan and execute projects, with the confidence to change direction when something isn’t working

• As the Chief of Staff to Alex Stephany, Beam’s Founder & CEO, you’ll have a front row seat as Beam continues to define how technology and AI can be used for good in the startup ecosystem,
• This is not for a mere onlooker: this role is for an ambitious and deeply capable executor and doer, who is excited to deliver complex work across a range of functions against their own sky-high standards - and at speed,
• Alex’s first Chief of Staff is today Beam’s Chief Customer Officer,

• Leading people and teams - you’ll be an experienced, highly capable team leader and manager, excited to deliver high-performance from yourself and those you manage,
• Operational superstar - you can elegantly simplify the complex and create clear memorable processes for use across a team of nearly 200 Beamers,
• Metric-obsessed - you’ll be energised by setting KPIs and OKRs (we use a variant called Impact Goals) - then executing against them with strong discipline,
• Hands-on and strategic - you’ll develop impressive customer and market knowledge and input into company-wide strategy with our leadership team,
• Building models and analysing data - you’ll be a GSheets whiz, comfortable building models, dashboards, and working with large amounts of company data to iterate how we work,
• Open to taking on new challenges on a regular basis - you’ll be excited to have variety in your role, solving a conveyor belt of problems of different shapes and sizes
