About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction sites.
The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Oversee the execution of construction projects, with a focus on MEP systems, ensuring that all phases are completed on schedule and in accordance with project specifications.
• Team Supervision: Manage on-site staff and subcontractors, ensuring that all personnel are working efficiently and meeting quality standards.
• MEP Coordination: Work closely with the MEP design and engineering teams to ensure proper installation... and functionality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations on-site in coordination with health and safety consultants, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with company and legal safety standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications, identifying any potential issues and resolving them promptly.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the site and project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and senior management, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, safety audits, and any relevant paperwork required for project completion.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place to avoid overruns.
• Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any site-related issues or challenges, minimizing disruption to the project timeline.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of site management experience, with at least 3 years in projects involving MEP systems.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Certifications: Relevant health and safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, or NEBOSH) are required.
• MEP Expertise: Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

Pay: From £85,000.00 per year
