We are hiring an Regional Sales Manager to join our UK Public Sector team - focussing on a broad portfolio of accounts into large UK Central Government This person will exemplify our team values of tenacity, integrity, and a role model.

Responsibilities:

Consistently deliver against bold targets with dedication to meeting deadlines and delivering predictable and accurate forecast. Managing your own business portfolio - helping to shape the strategy for an exciting sector, long-term account planning, driving complex account mapping, and diligently managing sales opportunities and myriad stakeholders. Collaborating with internal and external partners for maximum efficiency and scalability. Leveraging industry leading, in-house sales engineering resources. Blending the Splunk sales methodology with your own sales acuity. Being an empathetic corporate citizen – nurturing a two-way flow of relevant and timely information. Have a service driven mindset. Working within and mutually supporting a high-performance team, to deliver beyond expectations and ensure the most efficient employment of critical resources. Guiding all activities delivered your own account team and a broader group of Splunk contributors/supporters.

Requirements:

A measurable track record in building, managing, and delivering successful SaaS sales results in the UK Central Government Sector. Particularly in accounts such as Cabinet Office, Ministry of Justice, HMCTS and Government Legal Department. Unquestionable credibility in the Public Sector space - able to reveal and understand customer difficulties and apply Splunk value stack planning and proof of value to solve problems throughout the sector. Ability to self-start programmes that increase sales pipeline, which has the potential to scale up throughout Government Departments, agencies and Public Bodies, through a variety of business channels. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, in English. Outstanding interpersonal presentation skills. A growth mindset - accepting that there is something to learn every day. Strong executive presence - very comfortable with ‘C-Suite’ engagement (both internally and externally). Elevating the conversation to drive technology to solve business challenges Experience of closing sophisticated, six-figure plus, multi-year software licence deals, through multithreaded networking and negotiation. Someone who is professed self starter and self sufficient, but can orchestrate the wider team at the right time. Shrewd understanding of SaaS forecasting. Understanding how to handle sales target risk, taking ownership for committing and closing future deals and forecasting accurately. Thriving in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with high expectations of all team members. Able to work independently and remotely, whilst being equally comfortable in collaborating with other team members and corporate colleagues. Prepared to travel to visit customers, to work with your sales team, to attend industry events, and to join company forums Have a broad understanding of Government procurement frameworks and how to work with these
