An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reservations Manager based at the H10 London Waterloo Hotel.
H10 Hotels is a Spanish hotel group founded at the beginning of 1980’s, which has over 67 hotels in strategic locations offering exceptional service and selected cuisine.
Just a few meters away from Waterloo Station, the Hotel will offer 177 Guest Rooms, Terrace Bar, Restaurant and Conference rooms.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests in a friendly manner over the phone and email and manage reservations
- Record and process reservation information accurately
- Utilize up-selling techniques and handle special requests
- Communicate with the sales manager and keep them informed of new bookings
- Maintain communication between various hotel departments
- Ensure smooth integration of the PMS with other distribution systems, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking platforms.
- Maintain knowledge of channel managers and distribution tools (e.g., Rate Tiger, TravelClick) to ensure... efficient management of online channels
- Manage the hotel's presence on GDS platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan, and Galileo.
- Manage extranets for OTAs (Online Travel Agents) such as Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, and others, ensuring rates and availability are updated in real-time.
- Ensure proper mapping of room types and rate plans across various distribution channels to avoid errors or discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with channel connectivity, ensuring all platforms are seamlessly connected to the PMS.
- Liaise with travel agencies, corporate clients, and GDS operators to maintain relationships and resolve booking-related issues.
- Utilize SAP systems for financial reporting, invoicing, and managing reservation-related transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in hotel management or similar role
- At least 2 years experience as reservations agent.
- Previous experience with OTAs, GDS systems, channel managers and distribution tools.
- SAP system knowledge will be appreciated.
