We have an opportunity for a multi-talented, mid-level marketeer to join the Marketing team for m&i, within the Worldwide Events group.

Worldwide Events specialises in business-to-business trade events bringing together key players in the travel and events industry. We are the pioneers in making business joyful and connecting industry professionals in the perfect environment to encourage business.
The company is an established front-runner of the Meeting & Incentive, Luxury, and Romantic Travel sectors with events hosted in destinations such as Dubai, Ibiza, Istanbul, Seville, Oslo, The Bahamas, Marrakesh and Mexico.
The Role
This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for creating and executing high quality marketing deliverables and... campaigns for m&i in order to support our sales team meet their targets. As well as develop content marketing that increases lead generation and brand awareness whilst adding value to our customer proposition.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing m&i, you will be working closely with all departments including: sales, design, and operations teams. This position will suit an experienced marketing professional in the travel, hospitality or events industry with a particular interest in content marketing and copywriting, looking for the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing:
• Work with the Head of Marketing m&i and Director of Marketing WWE to establish clear goals and measurements for the marketing and brand strategy and implement it across all channels
• Contribute to the Social Media strategy and help inform and guide the social media content plan, ensuring the right content/message is posted
• Review and analyse campaign and website data to measure and improve the success of our campaigns and communications across all channels
• Maintain and update the m&i website to ensure the latest event information is live and accurate
• Create and manage new digital marketing campaigns and ad creative
Content creation and copywriting:
• Content creation will need to be second nature to you since you will need to put together many different types of communications daily (both online and offline)
• Develop a compelling online content strategy to improve (SEO and LLM) search results, establish m&i as a thought leader in the industry and improve community engagement (including blog content and long form article writing)
• Help maintain consistency in marketing and brand materials, communicating the m&i brand personality and tone of voice across all sales collateral and marketing communications
• Write press releases, launch marketing communications and industry papers
• Write creative email marketing campaigns both for internal marketing updates and external communications to our customers
Event marketing support
You will be required to attend several m&i client events and act as the marketing representative on-site:
• Set up of branded materials (banners, cushions, meeting tables)
• Support for the onsite event management and meeting management teams
• Managing the videographers and photographers on site and overseeing content capture and social media posts from the event
• Collecting customer testimonials at events (e.g written and recorded interviews)
About you
To be considered as a Digital Content and Marketing Manager, you’ll need:
• 5 years plus working within marketing and events – ideally either as a junior marketing manager or senior marketing executive
• Experience in copywriting and content creation experience either within a marketing role or as a dedicated copywriter or social media marketing manager
• Exceptional digital marketing skills and knowledge
• Excellent writing skills will be a core part of this role – a flair for creative short form and promotional text to be used in online/social media campaigns would be optimal
• An understanding of trends in social media and digital marketing
• Knowledge of scheduling tools and website programmes (such as agorapulse and wordpress)
• Computer literate with programmes such as word, excel etc
• Fantastic organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple workflows
• A strong project manager: a complete finisher with an eye for detail
• A natural and confident communicator
• Native English language speaker or fluent with the highest level of literacy: this role will be heavy on content and copy creation
• A self-starter, able to work independently and follow an idea from creation to execution
• A keen interest in the travel and events industry and/or direct experience in either would be a plus
• A love of travelling with a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally
• Degree educated with a strong competency in English language and literature. A European foreign language would also be a plus
