We’re looking for the next generation of changemakers and enquiring minds to join us in Engineering a Better Society.
We believe in a bigger and better idea of engineering. One driven by strategic consultancy and married with creative and technical expertise. Our role is to continue to inspire clients and organisations to think differently about their projects - not just aesthetically and commercially - but for the benefit of the planet and people who use them every day.
As an Elliott Wood Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and exciting projects , from art installations to award-winning buildings and masterplans, collaborating with and supported by... leaders and changemakers across the built environment.
This means we meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. From the Structural Carbon Tool , we developed with the IStructE to our collaborative coworking space at The Society Building , we back up our ambitions with action.
At Elliott Wood, we ask difficult questions: What kind of society do we want to live in? What can we do to address the climate emergency? What will be our engineering legacy?
To help us answer these questions and change the outdated habits of our industry, we have created a platform called ETHICS — Education, Technology, Health, Infrastructure, Culture and Sustainability. It helps us to face up to the challenges and create solutions to Engineer a Better Society.
Much of what can be achieved to turn our industry around sits within the hands of future engineers, civil, structural and sustainability. Our Graduate Programme and Academy
Our graduate programme will build on the knowledge you have gained to date and enhance it with new skills and experiences. Using our ETHICS as the framework, you will gain a better understanding of how we can impact the built environment and learn engineering through a holistic lens. It is about reimagining engineering entrepreneurship.
Through our supportive and collaborative in-house Academy and innovative workspace, The Society Building, there are huge opportunities across a wide range of projects, many of which are high-profile.
