Operating Department Practitioner
Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Central London - Full time, Permanent
No two days are the same in our busy, plastic surgery hospital and our award-winning theatre team are central to providing a first-class patient experience; working alongside our pioneering, world class consultants to deliver exceptional results.
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing the tasks of a registered ODP, working flexibly across three main clinical areas, using your specialisms to undertake a variety of tasks across anaesthetics, surgery and recovery to perform cosmetic and podiatry surgery such as (but not limited to) Rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, face lift, labiaplasty, blepharoplasty, liposuction and fat transfer.
Working with our experienced ODP team and within our wider theatre team, you will be passionate about patient care, working co-operatively with others to support continuous improvements and ever safer surgery standards... whilst being developed and nurtured by those around you to progress and develop your skills. This is an extremely rewarding role for individuals who have experienced a day-case setting, who enjoy learning, and who can work flexibly and productively with others, playing a significant role in every patient’s life changing story.

Requirements:
• Current ODP registration (HCPC) / registered to practice in the UK, with recent clinical experience
• Experience in practice as an ODP
• Commitment to and awareness of current advances in best clinical practice
• Commitment to professionalism in all role aspects
• Ability to work positively and supportively with others across teams and within a department
• Commitment to working with integrity
• Commitment to change and improve
• Ability to demonstrate care and consideration for others
• Fitness to practice as ODP
