We are seeking a skilled Wood Machinist / Joiner to join our dynamic team manufacturing bespoke timber windows & doors for period properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to work with a range powered wood processing machines including Band Re-Saw, Crosscut & Panel Saws. In addition spindle moulding & 5 sided moulding experience is sought. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The candidate will be responsible for accurately forming timber sections according to drawings & specifications.

Summary:

Refurb-a-Sash are seeking a skilled Wood Machinist to join our traditional timber window and door manufacturing business. This a 40-hour week (full-time) position.

Responsibilities:

· Set and operate machines such as saws, planers, tenoners, spindle and moulding machines

· Read instructions accurately from drawings and figures. Ask if unclear

· Use... tools including power tools, measuring equipment to ensure accuracy

· Maintain order and efficiency when machining and moving parts around the factory

· Inspect finished parts and products for quality and accuracy

Skills:

· Good grasp of numbers & maths for measurements and inspection.

. Ability to acurately read drawings and understand requirements

· Ability to machine a wide range of shapes and sizes of wood using machines

· Knowledge of tooling techniques for machining processes

The ideal candidate will have experience and qualifications in wood-machining and have worked in the timber trade.

Salary up to £35k per annum depending on experience
