Job Overview
Our client, a leading luxury interior design studio and showroom in Chelsea, is seeking a motivated Showroom & Sales Administrator to join their dynamic, close knit team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development within the interior design industry. Note that this role is administrative, and not design based, so experience in a similar role is ideal.
Responsibilities
This position will grow and develop their EU, Rest of World, Retail and Commercial sales channels. Proactive follow ups, client meetings, strong technical knowledge and exceptional service are all key contributing components to sales success and the development of this role. Support Senior Management and design team with various administrative tasks to keep the office operations running smoothly.
• Create and maintain exceptional presentation and atmosphere in the Showroom. The Showroom display, serviceand environment are key selling tools and must be upheld to a... stand out level
• Choose and install the weekly/twice monthly Showroom flowers or plants
• Support the Showroom Manager in the handling of contracted tradespeople and cleaners for all works to improve or maintain the overall presentation of the Showroom
• Support the Showroom Manager in the delivery of seasonal Showroom and Window installs
• Ensure all fabric and wallpaper hangings are present, labelled and beautifully displayed. Work with the ShowroomManager for hanging replacements, additions, or amendments
Skills
• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the design industry or similar, at least 2-3+ years
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A strong communicator with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
• Fluent spoken and written English
• MS Office (intermediate/advanced), good numeracy, social media skills
