Job Title: Real Estate Finance – Core+ Real Estate Valuations & Analytics Associate Role and Responsibilities The Firm is looking to recruit an Associate to work as part of the Real Estate Finance Core+ team; the role will have a broad remit, covering all aspects of investment and fund valuations, management analytics, and investor reporting across Blackstone’s European Real Estate Core+ funds; including Blackstone Property Partners Europe (“BPPE”) and Blackstone European Property Income Fund (“BEPIF”). In this role, the Associate will be an integral member of the Real Estate Finance team in London focusing on Valuations and Analytics. The focus of the team is to assist in managing the monthly and quarterly NAV process for the fund and producing complex analytics relating to the fund’s exposure and performance. The successful candidate will coordinate across internal and external groups to produce best-in-class valuation analysis for senior management and investors, as well as participate in an array of projects and will be expected to assume a key role in the broader team. Primary responsibilities will include: Oversee the monthly and quarterly valuation process and champion a world-class Fund Performance and Analytics framework for Blackstone's European Core+ Funds. Manage the process related to portfolio returns, composition, leverage, performance against reference indexes, and other key drivers. Collaborate closely with Asset and Portfolio Management teams to prepare detailed financial models and valuation analyses. Coordinate with European Portfolio Management and Global Finance teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of valuation analytics communicated to senior stakeholders and investors. Engage with Blackstone portfolio companies, including Revantage Europe, to deliver comprehensive driver analysis for Net Debt of investments within the Core+ Funds. Support teams including capital markets, acquisitions and asset management with ongoing portfolio analytics and ad-hoc modelling in relation to existing and new deals. Calculate fund level key performance metrics (e.g., shareholder returns, IRRs, Time-Weighted Returns, etc). Identify and implement operational innovations and enhancements to processes and drive implementation of technology initiatives. Participate in valuation automation projects and assist in enhancing the group’s reporting processes, procedures and analytics Develop management experience: oversight and review of activities performed by Revantage and the Centre of Excellence team in India. The Successful Candidate Must Have A highly analytical finance professional who is in constant pursuit of excellence and thrives in a dynamic, high-standards environment. +6 years of relevant experience in finance, real estate, or a related field. Degree in accounting or finance is a plus, with Chartered Accountant qualification and approximately 4 years post-qualification experience being a significant advantage. Relevant financial services industry experience (Real Estate Funds, Banking, Investment Management, Audit/Advisory) is also a plus. CFA qualification would be considered an advantage.
