Reports to: Product Director, Events and Marketing Services
2 Office days per week mandatory: Remote 3 days a week with occasional need for attendance on other days and attendance at events.
Join our dynamic events team and be the key player in driving delegate attendance and revenue for our outstanding events. You'll be responsible for contacting senior executives from Underwriters, brokers, claims administrators and service providers, showcasing the value proposition of our conferences, and converting... them into registered delegates.
Achieve and exceed sales targets for upcoming events through engaging phone conversations.
• Become an Event Expert: Gain in-depth knowledge of our events' content and benefits to effectively convey their value to prospects.
• Prospect Like a Pro: Utilize sales tools to identify and qualify high-potential leads.
• Share audience insights with the marketing and production teams to continuously improve event offerings and sales strategies.
• Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry trends and refine your sales techniques.
Fluency in English is essential as well as a learned fluency in Insurance jargon.
• A university degree and experience in B2B sales, ideally within the events industry.
• Confidence and a successful history of cold calling in a commercial environment.
• Comfort and skill in communicating with senior leaders over the phone.
• A commitment to achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to work with flexible hours to accommodate international calls.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, Dynamics, or Hubspot as a daily tool essential.
• Known for relationship building: Data driven: You will need to keep track of your pipeline, leads and audience feedback so we can maximize your sales strategies.
