Statement Of Expectation For The Role

This is a new post within the City of London Police in its role as national lead force for fraud and NPCC lead for fraud, economic and cyber crime. The successful role holder will lead the national coordination of policing’s workforce transformation of people across fraud, economic and cyber crime.

Vetting level required: MV/SC

Location: Guildhall Yard East, London

Salary: £57,000 per annum + £6,710 London Weighting + £200 London Weighting Supplement *pay award pending*

Description Of Department

This is a highly influential and challenging leadership role delivering a step change in how economic and cyber policing will recruit and retain its workforce at a national and regional level across 43 forces and 10 regions, to... meet the government’s vision of delivering a transformative people strategy across law enforcement. This is a critical role within the senior leadership team and you will play a vital role in shaping CoLP; forces; regional; and national HR priorities.

You will play a crucial role in taking forward leadership of economic and cyber policing’s workforce strategy programme that needs to deliver a sustainable workforce model in recruiting and retaining its staff for the future. Your responsibilities will include identifying gaps in the workforce and leading the wider operational priority planning. You will be the lead overseeing the implementation of numerous work strands within the strategy. The application and interview will be tested under the College of Policing Competency and Values Framework.

This role is open to all Police Staff / external candidates who meet the essential criteria of the person spec, regardless of current grade.
